Dr Anna Catherwood

Anna graduated from Otago University and worked in Christchurch and Nelson Hospitals before training to be a GP in 1996.

She has been an owner at Glenfield Medical Centre since 1999.

She enjoys all aspects of general practice including the longevity of her patients health care and the relationships she has made with her patients and families through the years.

She also has a special interest in gynaecology and Women’s health.

Anna is married and has 3 teenage children, with her younger son and daughter being twins so this has given her an additional perspective in paediatrics and parenting!

Outside of medicine she enjoys cooking and food, books, playing tennis and the South Island outdoors!

Anna is available for appointments Monday, Tuesday (morning) and Thursday.
