Dr Megen Wood

Megen began working at the practice in 2010.  She graduated from Otago Medical School in 1998 and is a fellow of the NZ College of General Practitioners.

She worked as a junior doctor in both New Zealand and Australia. She completed her diploma in paediatrics at Tauranga Hospital before returning to her home town of Hamilton in 2005 to work as a GP.

Megen and her family lived in Australia for three years before settling on the beautiful North Shore in 2010.

Megen enjoys the wide variety of GP work including minor procedures, sexual health and preventative medicine, and hopes her work is improving the health and well being of her own community.

Megen is married with two daughters and enjoys spending time with her family.

Megen is available for appointments on Tuesday and Thursday.
